The fan-favorite Super Late Models return this Saturday night, July 13th, for a $3,000-to-win event, serving as a final tune-up before the 42nd Annual Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil on August 8-10. The North/South 100 will feature a record $75,000 prize for the winner and $3,500 for starting the 100-lap A-Main on Saturday night.

With beautiful weather in the forecast, race fans can look forward to a full night of Super Late Model action, including Hot Lap Qualifying, Heats, B-Mains, and a $3,000-to-win Feature. Also racing will be Crate Late Models, G&G Express Sport Mods, Hornets, and the always wild and unpredictable Crown Vic division to close out the night.

This event will mark the fourth time the Super Late Model division has raced at Florence Speedway in 2024. Current Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Points Leader Ricky Thornton Jr. won the $10,000-to-win Spring 50 on March 16th. Batavia, Ohio’s Adam Stricker claimed victory in the $5,000-to-win special event on March 30th after an electrifying battle with Josh Rice. Garrett Alberson of Las Cruces, New Mexico, secured the most recent Super Late Model victory, fending off Dustin Nobbe and Spencer Hughes to earn the $5,000 payday.

Pit gates open at 4:00 PM, followed by main and back gate access at 5:30 PM. Hot laps will start promptly at 6:00 PM, leading up to an action-packed evening of competitive racing beginning at 7:00 PM. Admission prices include $18 for general admission adults (18+), ages 13-17 are $5, and free entry for children 12 and under. Pit admission is $35.
