Get ready for an action-packed Saturday night at Florence Speedway on April 13th as the Super Late Models make their third appearance of the 2024 season, with a special event offering a $3,000 prize to the winner. In the previous two races, Adam Stricker claimed a thrilling victory over Josh Rice on March 30th, while Ricky Thornton Jr. dominated the Spring 50 feature on opening night, March 16th.

After two events Verona, Kentucky’s Josh Rice leads Super Late Model points by a slim ten point margin over Adam Stricker. Cody Mahoney, Michael Chilton and “The Big Show” Robby Hensley round out the top five. With Late Models not being a full-time division in 2024, points will only be tracked for provisional purposes, which could help a driver secure a starting spot in the 42nd Annual Sunoco Race Fuels North South 100 on August 8th – 10th.

Already one of the highest-paying races in the sport, the 2024 Sunoco Race Fuels North South 100 will receive an increase of over $30,000 in additional purse money, and will pay the winner $75,000!

Joining the Super Late Models on Saturday, April 13th will be the Modifieds, G&G Express Sport Mods, Hornets, and Crown Vic divisions, all competing in their opening weekend of points racing toward the 2024 season championships.

𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

As early spring continues, we’re maintaining our early start times for the upcoming Saturday Night’s event. Festivities begin with the pit gate opening at 2:00 pm (Eastern Time), followed by main and back gate access at 4:30 pm. Hot laps are set to kick off at 5:00 pm, followed by Heats, B-Mains, and the $3,000-to-win Super Late Model Special Feature.

Modifieds, G&G Express Sport Mods, Hornets and Crown Vics will also run a full program of Hot Lap Qualifying, Heats, and Features.

This time, the RWD Windshield Class will take center stage. The payout for this event will be $1000 for the winner, $500 for 2nd place, and $200 for 3rd place.
