After heavy rains struck the speedway grounds and continued into the night, Saturday July 11th’s Lucas Oil Event was cancelled. As the event was only added to fill a gap in the Lucas schedule, it will not be made up. Florence Speedway has set the following options for those holding tickets and armbands from the event.
Tickets and armbands may be used in the following ways:
- You can use tickets and armbands for their full value at any event on our 2020 schedule including during the North/South 100 weekend events. If the event you with to use them at has a higher ticket price than the ticket you hold, you will have to pay the difference. If the event you wish to use them at has a lower ticket price, you will receive a refund of the difference at the gate.
- You may get a refund two ways.
- You can get a refund at the track at any gate on any race day.
- You can mail your tickets to the track for a refund.
- If you choose this option, you will receive a check for the ticket or armband value, or, if you purchased online, you can choose to have the refund put back to the card used to make the purchase. Tickets purchased at the track can not be refunded to a card.
- If mailing tickets for a refund, include a note INSIDE the envelope with your name and mailing address. If you are wanting payment back on a card for an online purchase, put your order number, and that you want your payment returned to your card.
- We are not responsible for tickets lost in the mail, so it is your responsibility to ensure that the tickets are sent in a secure manner.

- Free/Comp tickets/armbands have no value therefore can not be refunded or reused. If you received one, contact the person you received them from about a replacement.
- Online purchase service fees are collected by a third party and can not be refunded. We can not refund online purchases without receiving the tickets, as the tickets still have value. We also can not refund lost tickets or armbands.
- Friday’s event was completed, so tickets and bands from that event have no value.
- You have until October 31st, 2020 to return tickets for a refund. At that point they will be void.
