Tomorrow, Tuesday July 31st, is your last chance to get tickets to this year’s Sunoco North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil at their advance discounted rate! August 1st the price goes up to its full “at gate” price. With an increased purse, a history of great racing, and the addition of the Ralph Latham Memorial on Wednesday, ticket sales are well ahead of any previous years events. We anticipate selling out of reserved seats prior to the Saturday of the event, and will probably hit capacity at some point as well. The only way to guarantee yourself a seat is to get your tickets and reserved seats in advance. If you go online to http://florence.getmytix.net/tickets you can see what seats are still available and purchase your tickets. In addition to prices going up After July 31st, that will also be the last date to have tickets mailed to you. After that, all tickets sold will be held at the track’s Will Call window.
Don’t forget, the deadline for discounted tickets and reserved seats is July 31st. To order, call the track office at (859)493-0034 or purchase online at: http://florence.getmytix.net/tickets

Popular Format Returns, with even more racing added on Wednesday and Thursday |
In 2014, The Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil underwent a format change that eliminated qualifying. The event was a huge success, and the format is here to stay. How the event will work is, after drawing a number to determine starting order, drivers will compete in two sets of heat races on Friday. Their finishing order, combined with bonus points for passing cars, will be used to line up Saturday’s B Mains and Feature. Also on Saturday, will be a 30 lap $2,000 Non-Qualifiers race for those who do not transfer to the feature. The event will, once again, pay $50,000 to win. To see complete event info, including the format, times, and purses, check out the North/South 100 info page HERE. |
And if that isn’t enough racing for you, we’ve added even more on Wednesday and Thursday night. Kicking the weekend off on Wednesday will be the Rescheduled 32nd Annual Ralph Latham Memorial. This Lucas Oil Series event will be a complete show capped off by a 50 Lap feature paying $12,000 to win. Then on Thursday, will be the North/South Shootout. This will be another complete program for the Lucas Oil Late Models capped off with a 50 lap feature paying $10,000 to win.For more info on the Ralph Latham Memorial click HERE.For more info on the North/South Shootout click HERE. |

Camping Info |
Camping is allowed at the track free of charge during the North/South week and weekend. No hookups are available. The camping areas will be marked and site maps with the camping areas marked will be posted at the track. You can begin marking camping spots at 12:00 PM on Saturday August 4th and at any time during the week after that. All camping spots are first come first served. On Saturday August 4th, No ATVs, UTV’s, Golf Carts, Motorcycles, or similar vehicles may be used for marking camping sites. Also, on Saturday August 4th, from 12-3 pm, we will have the main ticket window open for people to purchase tickets and pick up will call orders.
- Camping policy for 2018
- In an attempt to control some of the problems we have had in past years with running out of room in the camping areas, we are using the following policy this year. Beginning Friday August 10th at 12 PM, all marked off campsites must be occupied by some sort of camper. From that point, any empty sites will be opened up for anyone to use. Also, those who mark off excessive areas and do not use all of the space they mark, may be asked to reduce their area. The goal of this new rule is not to force people into smaller areas, or prevent people from saving spots for friends. The camping areas are one of our biggest logistical problems every year at the event, and many times, people take up way too much room, or mark off spots that never get used. This leads to us having to designate more and more areas off for camping. With us only having so much space for camping and car parking, something needs to be done to alleviate the problem. With this rule, we realize that there will be situations that arise that we cannot foresee. We will be taking each situation on a case by case basis and may need to make changes as we go. We ask for everyone’s cooperation in this. Please remember, camping is free. For that to continue, everyone needs to be considerate in the space they use.
