Saturday May 27th’s program at Florence Speedway was unfortunately halted by heavy rains occurring just before the start of the Late Model Feature. While rain check information was announced at the time, Speedway officials would like to clarify that information for those who missed the announcements. As per speedway policy, when a cancellation occurs on a regularly scheduled event such as this prior to the feature event being at least halfway completed, the race is considered a cancelled event. The features will not be made up. As the heat races were completed, championship points will be awarded for those races and they will count for Sunoco Heat Race Challenge points. All tickets and armbands are good for their value towards any event for the remainder of the 2017 season. For those holding the special Free “Grad Night” student tickets, those will be good for free admission to any regularly priced event in 2017. They will not be able to be used towards any increased price events.
