| 2016 North/South 100 and Ralph Latham Memorial Tickets on sale February 1st |
| February 1st, 2016 is a big day here at Florence Speedway as it is the day that tickets and reserved seats go on sale to the public for the 34th Annual Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil and the 30th Anniversary $30,000 to win Ralph Latham Memorial. As in past years, for the North/South 100, all rows in Sections A-J on the frontstretch and rows 11 and higher in sections P-Z on the backstretch are reserved seating. For the Ralph Latham Memorial, the top 10 rows in sections A-J on the frontstretch will also be reserved. You can get ticket pricing information on the North/South 100 and Ralph Latham Memorial pages on our website. To order tickets and seats, call the track office at (859)493-0034. For those who ordered 2015 North/South 100 or Ralph Latham Memorial reserved seats by phone, letters were mailed out this weekend allowing you to keep your same seats for 2016. If you wish to keep your same seats you have until January 15th, 2016 to place your order. If you do not receive your form, or do not wish to wait to receive it, you can call the track office at (859)493-0034 any time before January 15th. |
| Date for 2015 Season Awards Ceremony Announced |
| We are pleased to announce the date and location of our 2015 Season Awards Ceremony. The event will be on January 9th, 2016, and will be held at the Hilton Cincinnati Airport. Come out and help us recognize our 2015 Track Champions and other special awards recipients. The Hilton is located at the Turfway Road exit of I-75/71 and will be offerring a special room rate for attendees. For more info, click HERE. |
| Season Passes on sale |
| Season Passes are now on sale for the 2016 season and will be good for all 2016 racing events. Prices are unchanged with General Admission passes costing $250 and Pit Passes costing $450. They make great Christmas presents for that racer in your life or just for yourself! To purchase a pass, call the track office at (859)493-0034. Only a limited number of passes are sold each year, and, once they are sold out, no more will be available. Because of this, if you are interested in purchasing passes, it is recommended you call soon. |

| Another gift idea for that racer who has almost everything is to get them their own transponder. Transponders are mandatory in all divisions and events at Florence Speedway and we do have them available for purchase. Complete kits are $250 and includes the transponder, pouch, and charger. | 2016 Schedule starting to form up |
| Scheduling for th 2016 season is underway and some dates have already been posted to the schedule page at florencespeedway.com. So far announced are the season opening 40th annual Spring 50 March 12th. The OMG Spring Nationals returns April 30th. The 30th Annual $30,000 to win Ralph Latham Memorial June 4th. The AMS series returns June 25th. The 34th Annual Sunoco North/South 100 will be August 11-13. And the Season will close Saturday October 22nd with our Annual Fall 50. The complete schedule should be posted sometime in January. |
| Looking for tech help for 2016 |
| Florence Speedway is currently looking for tech inspectors for the 2016 season. We and needing inspectors for the Late Model, Modified and Crate divisions. While tech experience is not essential, a good working knowledge of the cars you will be inspecting will be required. Interested persons should contact Josh King at jking@florencespeedway.com with your background in racing and any experience you have in tech or working on cars. |
| Increased purse for 2016 Sunoco North/South 100 |
| Florence Speedway is excited to announce that the 2016 Sunoco North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil will be receiving a purse increase that will make it one of the highest paying races in the sport. After increasing the purse to pay $50,000 to win in 2003, the race has seen tremendous growth over the last decade. In 2014, with a change to the popular passing points format, the race received an increase of over $12,000 in the form of a non-qualifiers race for those not fortunate enough to make the 100 lap feature. And after seeing growth in attandance in 2015 due to the new format and the exciting racing it produces, we are increasing the purse again. On August 11-13, 2016, the North/South 100 will again, pay $50,000 to win, but the race will now pay $3,000 to start! This is the highest paying start money of any race in the sport, and is sure to draw the attention of all of the top drivers. Tickets for the event will go on sale to the public in January.We are also pleased to announce that the Hilton Cincinnati Airport will, once again, be the host hotel for the event. In 2015, rooms for the event sold out, so you wil want to book your room as soon as possible to be sure you don’t miss out. The hotel has a special $85 a night rate set up for the event. | 2016 Sponsorship Opportunities Available |
| We are currently looking for companies who are interested in advertising with us for the 2016 season. We can do packages that incorporate signage, billboards, website advertising, mailer advertising, company outings at the track, company titled race nights, division sponsorships, T-shirt and other giveaways, or we can customize sponsorship ideas to fit your needs. We can work with sponsors with most any budget from companies who only want to spend a few hundred dollars up to corporations with advertising budgets in the thousands.
