Florence Speedway officials would like to update everyone on this past weekend’s Ralph Latham Memorial cancellation. After discussing all options for a rescheduling of the event with Lucas Oil officials, there were no dates that were acceptable to all parties involved. Due to this, the race is cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
For those holding tickets for the event, there are different options depending on how your tickets were purchased.
For those who purchased their tickets online or by credit or debit card:
- Your ticket and reserved seat charge are being refunded to your original method of payment. This process is automatic and will happen this week. You do not have to do anything to get your refund. It may take up to 5-10 business days for the refund to be returned depending on your credit card company’s processing times. All tickets in this category are void.
For those who purchased their tickets at the track or by phone using cash or a method of payment other than credit or debit card you have a number of options:
- If you want a refund, you can get a refund to your original method of payment. Call the track office at (859)493-0034, email us at tickets@florencespeedway.com, or bring your tickets to the ticket window on the frontstretch on any race day.
- You can use your tickets towards any event in 2024. You can call the track office at (859)493-0034 to upgrade your tickets to North/South 100 or Kentucky Sprint Nationals tickets and pay any difference in ticket price at that time.
- You can also bring your tickets to the track and use them towards tickets for any event. Any excess in credit for existing tickets to new tickets will be refunded at that time. All exchanges of this type must occur at the ticket window on the frontstetch. You cannot take your tickets to any gate. They must be exchanged at the frontstretch ticket window.
- Note: All exchanges and refunds done at the track must be done at the frontstretch ticket window. The process for exchanging the tickets for another event or refunding is time consuming as the order has to be manually looked up and voided. It is recommended that if you are going to exchange for another event, you do so in advance by phone if possible.
