| This Saturday, we get our 2019 Season underway as we host the 43rd Annual Spring 50 for Late Models. The $5,000 to win event is an early season favorite as it is one of the first chances to see racing each year. The event features a 50 lap $5,000 to win event for the Late Models. Also racing will be our Slicker Graphics Modifieds, Phoenix Comfort Systems Crate and G&G Express Sport Mod divisions. For the Modifieds, Slicker Graphics has stepped up to add an additional $300 to the feature winners purse, making the feature now pay $1,300 to win! |
| Also, just announced, we will be adding an Open Practice on Friday evening March 22nd. Practice will run from 5pm to dark. Pit admission is $20 Friday, and general admission is free. |

| Last, but not least, G&G Express has come on board and has done so in a big way. G&G Express will be the title sponsor for our newest division, the Sport Mods. The G&G Express Sport Mods are similar to our regular Slicker Graphics Modified division cars but with rules in place to help keep the cost down. In addition to being the title sponsor, G&G Express, in conjunction with another speedway sponsor, L&M Performance, have decided to raise the stakes in the championship points battle. In addition to the money and prizes they would normally receive, the 2019 G&G Express Sport Mod track champion will also receive a free Badfast modified chassis! To be eligible, a driver does have to compete in all G&G Express Sport Mod events at the speedway in 2019. |

| Tickets on sale for the Sunoco North/South 100 and Ralph Latham Memorial |
| Tickets and reserved seats are now on sale for this year’s 37th Annual Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil. Tickets are also on sale for the $10,000 to win North/South Shoout on Thursday August 8th. With the popular passing point format staying in place for this year’s event and the added event on Thursday, we expect attendance to be near or above capacity. Because of this, the only way to guarantee yourself a seat is to purchase a reserved seat in advance. All seats in sections A-J on the frontstretch are reserved. On the backstretch, in sections P-Z, seats in rows 1-10 are open seating and all seats in rows 11 and up are reserved. There is also an advance purchase discount price for two day passes purchased before July 31st. Also, tickets and reserved seats for the 33rd Annual Ralph Latham Memorial paying $12,000 to win are on sale as well. The top 10 rows on the frontstretch(Sections A-J) are reserved this year. | Sunoco Race Fuels Heat Race Challenge |
| We at Florence Speedway are excited to announce that the Sunoco Race Fuels Heat Race challenge is returning for the 2019 season. We and Sunoco Race Fuels have teamed up for a program to reward drivers who race here weekly. The Sunoco Race Fuels Heat Race Challenge will reward drivers who run well in their heat races and run Sunoco Race Fuel products. The twist to this program is that where, in most cases, drivers in different divisions can not compete against each other, in the Sunoco Race Fuels Heat Race Challenge, the eligible drivers will be competing head to head! That’s right, the Late Models, Slicker Graphics Modifieds, Phoenix Comfort Systems Crates and G&G Express Sport Mods are all competing for the same prize. At the end of the season, the top point earner will gain a $500 prize from Sunoco, and everyone in the top 10 will receive cash awards. For more details check out the program info page on our website. At the track, we currently offer Sunoco HCR+ 114 Octane, Supreme 112 Octane, 260 GT Plus 104 Octane Unleaded Crate Fuel for sale by the gallon. We also have access to drums of each of the above and all of Sunoco’s fuels. If anyone is interested in purchasing a drum, just ask at our fuel sales area. Purchase of any of the above qualifies you for the Sunoco Heat Race challenge bonuses. The Sunoco Heat Race challenge begins on March 3oth. |
| Transponders now mandatory |
| In 2015, Florence Speedway installed a transponder scoring system at the track. Transponders are devices attached to the cars that allow for electronic scoring of the races. This allows for quicker turnarounds in cautions and more accurate scoring of the races. Transponders are already in use at many tracks and by many series across the country and are becoming the standard method of scoring in auto racing. We have transponders available for rent or for sale at the track at our new registration building. Transponders are now mandatory in all divisions. |
| Host Hotel for 2019 Season Announced! |
| We are excited to announce that Florence Speedway has upgraded to the Hilton! The Hilton Cincinnati Airport is now the Official Host Hotel of Florence Speedway and the 36th Annual Sunoco North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil. The hotel will be offering a reduced rate for Florence Speedway customers for the entire season. The Hilton Cincinnati Airport, is conveniently located 15 minutes away from the track at the Turfway Exit(182) off of I-75/71 and is situated close to multiple restaurants, shopping, and a short drive from the casinos and the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport. Rooms for the North/South weekend are expected to sell out, so it is recommended that you book soon. |

| 2019 Sponsorship Opportunities Available |
| We are currently looking for companies who are interested in advertising with us for the 2019 season. We can do packages that incorporate signage, billboards, website advertising, mailer advertising, company outings at the track, company titled race nights, division sponsorships, T-shirt and other giveaways, or we can customize sponsorship ideas to fit your needs. We can work with sponsors with most any budget from companies who only want to spend as little as $200 up to corporations with advertising budgets in the thousands. |
