Florence Speedway will kick off the 2022 season with 46th Annual Spring 50 this Friday-Saturday, March 25th-26th.
An Open Test and Tune for all divisions – which includes Late Models, Modifieds, Crate Late Models, G&G Express Sport Mods, and Hornets – is set for this Friday, March 25th.
Practice is scheduled from 5:00pm – 8:00pm with the pit gate opening at 4:00pm. Pit passes are $25 while spectator admission to the grandstand area is free. Pit-side concessions will be open, with a limited menu.
On Saturday, the on-track action will be highlighted by a $10,000-to-win program for Late Models. The Modifieds and Crate Late Models will also be in competition with both divisions chasing a $1,000 top prize. No entry fee for any division on Saturday, March 26th.
A bonus will be award to the Top-3 finishers of the Late Model feature who are utilizing a steel block engine. The Top-3 Steel Block Late Models in Saturday night’s Spring 50 Late Model feature will receive $250, $150, and $100 respectively. Steel Block Late Models must declare at time of pill draw to be eligible for bonus money.
On Saturday, March 26th the Pit Gates open at 12:00pm (noon), followed by Main and Back Gates opening at 2:30pm. Hot Laps are set to begin at 3:00pm followed immediately by qualifying and racing action.
Ticket prices in the General Admission area will be $30 for Adults (18+) while ages 13-17 will be $20. Children age 12 and under are admitted for free to the General Admission area. A pit pass is $45.
