We are quickly approaching the biggest weekend of the year, as the 41st Annual Sunoco North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil weekend is set for Thursday-Saturday, August 10-12 at Florence Speedway. This year the race will again pay an event record $75,000 to win. Over $300,000 in purse money will be up for grabs over the 3 days, making it one of the richest events in dirt racing. The weekend will feature complete shows on both Thursday and Friday with each night capped off with two $5,000 to win features. These races will line up Saturday’s Heats, and those will line up the B-Mains and Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100!

Camping for North/South weekend opens Saturday August 5th
For those wanting to camp at the track North/South weekend, there are some new procedures for 2023.
Camping is allowed at the track free of charge during the North/South week and weekend. No hookups are available. The camping areas will be marked and site maps with the camping areas marked will be posted at the track. You can begin marking camping spots at 12:00 PM on Saturday August 5th and at any time during the week after that. All camping spots are first come first served.
No staging for backstretch/Turn 1/Turn 2 camping before Thursday August 3rd at 12 pm.
NOTE: NEW CAMPING PROCEDURE FOR 2023. In an effort to help with some of the congestion on the opening day of camping, we are putting in a new procedure for camper staging. For those who want to camp in the lots to the Southwest of the speedway outside turn 1, you will stage at the gate outside turn 1 as has been the procedure for the last few years. For those wanting to camp in the lots on the backstretch and to the Southeast of the speedway outside turn 2, you will stage in the pit area. The roads between the different areas will be closed, so make sure you are staged in the staging area for where you want to camp. This is only for the opening of camping on August 5th. To see a map explaining the staging click HERE
On Saturday August 5th, No ATVs, UTVโs, Golf Carts, Motorcycles, or similar vehicles may be used for marking camping sites.
